The primary goal of equipment startup is to ensure that the equipment is operating as designed and submitted. The term “Startup” is defined as the inspection and preparation of all electrical and mechanical components of a specific piece of equipment. Startup includes functional testing to verify that equipment is performing in accordance with its intended design after installation, and prior to system commissioning. It will be necessary that the equipment have the ability to operate at a 100% control and capacity. Schedule of a startup technician is presumed that all pre-startup check list items are completed and the site/system is ready for equipment to run all sequences of operations.
